Position: Human Resource Specialist
Department: Administration
Position Summary/Requirements: Perform Human Resources related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: benefits coordination, recruitment/staffing, terminations, compensation, and training; assist with HR compliance issues; provide backup to HR Assistant; assist department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all company employees. Req. BBA in Human Resources or related field. 2-5 years exp. in recruitment/benefits; ADP knowledge desirable.
Position: Medical Assistant
Department: Downtown Satellite
Position Summary/Requirements: Assist in the examination & treatment of patients under the direction of the Physician. Duties include interviewing patients, taking vital signs, assisting w/ minor clinical procedures. Responsible for preparing exam room, stocking supplies, cleaning & sterilizing instruments. Performs routine injections & laboratory procedures. Requires HS Diploma & MA Certificate.
Position: Case Manager-CBCM

Position Summary/Requirements: Functions as the key linkage between homeless persons with mental illness and the service systems throughout the community. Ensures that clients meet the Level of Care (LOC) criteria for community based case management. Responds comprehensively to the needs of clients through ongoing case mgmt. Requires BA degree in Human Services or related field, 1+ years serving homeless population with mental illness & valid HI drivers license & the ability to relate effectively to difficult clients, including mentally ill, chemically dependent, and other homeless individuals.

Department: Health Care for the Homeless - Kaaahi Clinic
Position Summary/Requirements (Part Time 9 hrs/week): Provides independent management of the care of adult/pediatric patients, provides supervision for the care delivered by family nurse practitioners & assists in clinic teaching & administrative responsibilities. Requires current license to practice medicine in Hawaii, current DEA & Hawaii Narcotics Enforcement Division licensure, board eligible or certified in family practice & ability to work with multi-ethnic populations.
Position: Housing Specialist
Department: Health Care for the Homeless
Position Summary/Requirements: Assists HCHP Case Managers and Shelter Plus Care (S+C) participants in finding, securing, and maintaining permanent housing. Provides crisis & emergency services. Helps participants to reintegrate into the community. Requires HS Diploma or GED, valid HI Drivers license, previous experience serving homeless population & knowledge of housing issues & rental housing market in Hawaii

Performs a variety of dental assisting duties to promote quality dental care for patients. Assist dentists with x-rays, sterilization, lab & chair side duties. Provides patient education, communicates effectively with patients & maintains equipment & inventory. HS diploma required. Graduate of DA course pref. but will substitute 2 years on the job training. DENTRIX exp desirable.
Position: Community Reproductive Health Educator

Position Summary/Requirements (Part-Time): Conducts family planning education on reproductive health topics to schools & community groups. Plans & coordinates KPHC health displays & services at community & cultural events &health fairs. Assists with maintaining youth health website. Documents community encounters. Req. HS Diploma & previous health education exp. BA preferred.

Position Summary/Requirements: Administers the delivery of dental services to KPHC Downtown Clinic patients. Requires license to practice in the State of Hawaii, 2 years general dentistry experience preferred. Ability to work with a diverse population.
Position: Certified Peer Specialist

Position Summary/Requirements: Provides assistance & consultation to CBCM team to effectively serve clients at all levels of their recovery process. Works w/ project staff in providing a coordinated system of care to clients. Requires HS diploma/GED, Certified as a Peer Specialist by AMHD & 1+ years in recovery as a consumer of mental health services.
Position: Pharmacist

Position Summary/Requirements: Processes and fills prescriptions, interacts with providers on pharmacotherapy
interventions, supervises pharmacy technician, performs day-to-day staff pharmacist functions and participates in pharmacy initiatives as assigned. Requires PharmD from accredited school of pharmacy, licensed Pharmacist in the state of Hawaii & minimum 2 years work exp. Community health pharmacy experience preferred. Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
Position: Pharmacy Technician

Position Summary/Requirements: Under the direct supervision of the pharmacist, perform routine tasks in the preparation and dispensing of prescription drugs, including typing drug labels, stocking pharmaceutical supplies, receiving and unpacking drug shipments, filling/issuing prescription drugs, tracking pharmaceutical stock. Requires HS Diploma/GED) & strong customer service skills & 1-2 years experience in a clinical setting. Community health experience & CPhT preferred.

Position Summary/Requirements: Provides independent management of women’s gynecological concerns including well-women, gynecology, gynecological acute and chronic care and family planning. Works collaboratively with the nurse midwives to provide obstetrical care to patients. Able to deal effectively with multi-ethnic populations and low-income populations. Requires OB/GYN licensed and certified to prescribe medications in the State of Hawaii. Must be board certified or board eligible.
